POSITION AND DUTIES:

The Company is engaged in the business of architectural fabrication.

We currently seek welder/fabricators matching the following description:

• Must thrive in our fast-paced, supportive studio
• Must dedicate yourself to the creation of objects of the highest possible quality, given time and budgetary constraints
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with studio team members and associates
• Must have the strength and manual dexterity
• Must read and interpret architectural/shop drawings
• Maintain close attention to detail with or without supervision
• Work with Management to set work priorities to meet production goals and deadlines
• Must be able to work on multiple projects under strict deadlines
• MIG and TIG welding and fabricating various parts and assemblies, made of a variety of metals
• Set and maintain welding machines and weld vertical, horizontal, and overhead
• Inspect welds for cracks, burn through and weld spatter
• Cut, bend, mill, punch, press drill, countersink, file, grind and polish custom pieces
• Work with colleagues to continually organize shop space, keep machinery, tools, materials, and supplies orderly
• Perform, or if incapable, have Management arrange for preventative and scheduled maintenance of machines
• Attend company sponsored training as required
