We are an ISO certified Light Manufacturer looking to hire a permanent full time shipper/receiver and manufacturing technician.

This is not your average shipping and receiving / manufacturing job. This job requires the ability to multitask and manage your time. A strong technical and mechanical aptitude is key, as is an attention to detail.

Duties:

• Prepare, Pack and Ship orders worldwide in a timely and efficient manner, error free
• Receive incoming shipments; ensure accuracy and free of damage
• Communicate, negotiate with freight forwarders for cost efficient rates
• Handle diverse international customs requirements with an attention to detail
• Use a variety of shipping software, CRM/database systems and MS Office Software
• Organize and maintain warehouse cleanliness
• Assist with manufacturing as needed according to Quality Operational Procedures and Work Instructions
• Ensure that all work is done with quality and integrity following procedure to the letter to ensure a consistently high quality product is produced
• Work closely and as a team player, setting a positive example for ensuring efficient and effective company operations

Skills & Qualifications:

• High School Graduation or GED
• Excellent written and oral communication skills (Absolutely vital)
• Strong command of the English language (Absolutely vital)
• Self-motivated and team oriented
• Prior experience in shipping environment
• Strong understanding of International shipping and Customs
• Prior experience with shipping software, database systems and MS Office Software
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Excellent time management and organizational skills (Absolutely vital)
• Prior experience in an ISO (ie. ISO9001) manufacturing environment preferred
• Strong computer skills (PC environment, MS Office, Maximizer CRM, Shipping software)
• Forklift ticket is an definite asset
• Familiarity with basic power tools an asset
• Capacity to carry weights of +/-50 pounds
• Hard working and detail oriented
• An interest in Health and Integrative Medicine is an asset

Work Hours: 8:30 am — 5:00 pm, Mon-Fri
