Description and Responsibilities

We are looking for an enthusiastic, very organized interior design-loving person to provide full-time support to our Founder as a Personal/Admin Assistant.

This is a non-stop busy position where duties change from day to day ranging from administrative duties, organizing, handling customer service, answering phones, running errands, attending photoshoots to coordinating online live virtual events.

  • Emails, Phone Calls
  • Online customer service
  • Calendar Management, Scheduling
  • Schedule online meetings
  • Attend online meetings
  • Social media posting
  • External Communication: with vendors, delivery personnel, customer service reps, clients
  • Manage contracts in relationships with contractors, suppliers, course participants
  • Errands and Tasks: picking up and returning, post office, opening packages, disposing of boxes
  • Personal errands for Founder
  • Assist in coordinating live and online events.
  • Travel arrangements
  • Organize office and all workspace and storage areas
  • Maintain inventory
  • Assist in photo and video shoots
  • Attend off-site design consultations
  • Costing/pricing, rearranging things, keeping office supplies in order, filing, online research, shipping, expense reports.
  • Basically overall support to a very busy designer

Requirements

  • Must have outstanding organizational skills and time management skills
  • Advanced computer skills, including Mac software, Google Drive, Slack, Dropbox
  • Speak and writes English fluently
  • Professional experience with multiple Social Media platforms
  • Discretion and confidentiality
  • Physically fit and able to lift and move equipment and furniture

  • Agree to work on-site in Chilliwack studio with some remote work.
  • Flexibility in-office and other locations as requested.
  • Car, Valid Driver’s License
  • 1- 4 days per week in office
  • MUST LIVE IN LOWER MAINLAND OF BC AREA

Qualifications:

Personal or Executive Assistant: 1 year minimum (Required)

Admin professional (Required)

Interior Decorating/Design Enthusiast (Preferred)

Professional Social Media Experience (Preferred)

Nice to have and will train the right person:

Adobe Suite; InDesign, Illustrator, etc.

Knowledge of the online eCommerce, Infusionsoft, Klayvio or similar CRM.

Photoshop (Preferred)

Backend experience with Zoom, Slack, Skype
