Part Time, Permanent Medical Office Administrator Assistant

Must be flexible to work Afternoons, evenings and Every Saturday

Ultimate Health Clinic is an established clinic in Holland Landing and is currently seeking an organized, reliable, motivated and energetic individual with strong communication skills and experience in office ideally in a medical (massage therapy/physiotherapy/Chiropractic/Osteopathy, Naturopathy/ Acupuncture) clinic to fill in a part time position.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Direct bill to most insurance companies
  • Answer phones and direct calls
  • Organize and schedule appointments
  • Create and maintain filing, both electronic and paper
  • Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Provide general support to administrators
  • Greet clients and assist them accordingly
  • Provide information by answering questions and requests
  • Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Reply to email, telephone or face to face inquiries
  • Resolve administrative problems
  • Photocopy, scan and print out documents
  • Office Cleaning, laundry, and restocking supplies
  • Flexible to cover vacation for other administrators
  • Successful completion of a college diploma preferably in the field of Medical Office or Business Administration from an accredited educational institution.
  • Minimum of (1) years of related experience preferably working within a medical clinic environment.
  • Minimum of (1) years of related experience working with TELUS Health SSO, Provider Connect, Blue Cross, Claim Exchange.

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions, exercise good judgment, discretion and initiative when dealing with confidential information and/or in responding to inquiries
  • Must be available to work afternoons, evenings and Saturdays

Part-time hours: 15-20 per week

Salary: From $18.00 per hour

HOLLAND LANDING, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
