Job Description

We are seeking employees for our bin building crew. We are looking for reliable workers that take pride in their work.

The job will start in late May and continue throughout the summer, typically until the end of October. The crew meets at our shop every morning and goes to site in company vehicles. Our shop is located near Neilburg SK. If applicants are living elsewhere, they would need to plan on moving within commuting distance from Neilburg SK. There are currently a few reasonable options for accommodations in Neilburg.

We work in most weather. High winds, lightning, extreme heat, or heavy rain will shut us down. A typical day has the crew leaving the shop at 7 AM and getting back around 6:30 – 7 PM, Monday to Friday. As the summer progresses, there may be opportunities to work some Saturdays.

Job duties will include:

Using hand tools and power tools

Moving/carrying metal sheets weighing 70 – 250 lbs

Drilling/grinding/aligning metal sheets

Bolting metal sheets together, working both alone and with other people

Tightening bolts with impacts, holding wrenches

Climbing step ladders up to 10’ high, many times throughout the day

Cleaning up the jobsite to the same or better condition than before we got there

Spotting/signaling for the crane operator

Ensuring that you and your co-workers are working safely

Job duties may include:

Driving crew truck to/from site

Climbing to the top of the grain bin to release our lifting device once the bin is complete

Driving pilot vehicle to escort over-dimensional loads to site

Being swung around in a man-basket doing work at heights
