About Us:

We are a heating and drying equipment distributorship, working with clients in many industries, such as aviation, agriculture, construction, drilling, mining, oil & gas, rental and many more, throughout all of North America, from Alaska to Florida, from California to Nunavut.

Cantherm Distributors has been in business for over 25 years, and is looking for a driven individual to help grow the business. We work on principles of truth and equity, seeking to stand beside our clients to aid them in their success by providing products and services that are dependable, fair and honest.

The Position:

Here is your opportunity to play a major role in the building of a company, and, to a large extent, manage your own schedule and income. The vast majority of this role entails prospecting and cold-calling, ie. spending most of each day on the phone following up on leads and reaching out to new people, understanding their needs, and building honest relationships.

We are looking for an individual with the following characteristics:

  • Must be a person of integrity, dependability, and trustworthiness;
  • Must have the desire to cold-call and prospect;
  • Must enjoy meeting new people (in reality or virtually) and building lasting relationships;
  • Must have an interest in learning about many different industries;
  • Must be willing to travel for sales trips a handful of times throughout the year;
  • Must be focused, organized, and have the ability to create and manage your own schedule;
  • Must be computer-literate and competent with a variety of software applications;
  • Must be willing to take on various roles and duties in the company in addition to sales and marketing;
  • Must have a positive and willing attitude to do what it takes to get the job done;
  • Must have a laptop and mobile phone;
  • Must have a valid driver’s license


  • Previous sales experience is an asset but not required.
  • Previous industry experience is an asset but not required.
  • Mechanical ability is an asset but not required.

We will be basing our hiring decision on will over skill. We want an individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, one who is able to remain determined when faced with rejection, passionate, hungry for success, driven to excel, and, at the same time, stands by lasting principles.


Wage is a mix of base salary and commission. Complete compensation details will be determined based on experience and ability, with increases available at any given time based on actual performance.
