Job Description

We are a client-focused boutique law firm currently seeking an experienced receptionist to assist with our growing legal practice in the areas of real estate, wills and estates, corporate/commercial and uncontested family law.

We are looking for a team player who is motivated, results driven and prepared to hit the ground running.

QUALIFICATIONS:- minimum 1+ years of experience in a receptionist role;

– excellent command of the English language;
– ability to prioritize and handle a high volume of work;
– proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel;
– attention to detail, self-motivated and ability to autonomously manage files;
– friendly and customer service-oriented with the ability to build and maintain relationships;
-meticulously organized; and
-readily willing to take on new tasks.


– Preparing client file materials including opening files, updating client information, maintaining a diary system; responding to general inquiries, and filing;
– Typing and proof-reading correspondence and documents;
– Calendar organization and time management for lawyers;
– Answering emails and telephone inquiries;
– Updating and improving office organization systems;
– Providing excellent customer service and maintaining client relations;
-Opening and distributing regular and electronic incoming mail and other material and co-ordinate the flow of information internally and with other departments or organizations; maintaining office supplies and re-ordering as required;
– and any and all other reception duties as instructed.
