Founded in 2008, Simply Gourmet has been providing busy professionals and families with customized meals for nearly 15 years. Unlike many other meal prep companies, we tailor our meals to our clients individual dietary needs as well as preferences, right down to their spice and salt tolerance. We create two weeks worth of customized evening meals in our commercial kitchen, freeze them and then deliver to our clients homes.
In addition we also specialize in catering in home events. Anywhere from a plated dinner for two, to a cocktail party for 50 or a buffet for 30 and nearly everything in between.
In 2020, after 7 years sharing commercial kitchen spaces in Calgary we decided to buy a house and build an AHS approved commercial kitchen in our basement. Located in SW Calgary, we now have a private, bright, clean and functional space. We have a casual slower paced environment to work in compared to the demands of working on the line. It stays fresh and new as dishes change all the time and my recipes aren’t steadfast, so you get some creative freedom as long as it tastes good and fits the clients preferences.
